While my company (Endgame Studios) was working on a psychological horror game demo in the Doom 3 engine in 2005, we needed a way to get fonts into the engine, and the existing tools weren't cutting it. So I wrote this, and figured I may as well release it to the public too. The source code can probably be used as a general purpose exporter of fonts to textures, though I haven't looked at the source in many years now.
